March 24, 2018george stanleyInnovation, Workshop FacilitationNo comments

Infrastructure Australia currently offers a series of interactive workshops across Australia under a Business Case Improvement (BCI) Program.

The BCI Program is designed to advise project proponents on how to better prepare successful submissions for projects seeking funding over $100 million.

gsc has been closely involved with Infrastructure Australia in the design, development and facilitation of all BCI Workshops, held across Australia, with over 300 workshop participants successfully attending in over five different States.

The BCI Program is made up of three modules, as outlined below.

Module 1: Introductory Module Workshop

Assists participants to better understand the Infrastructure Australia business case submission process and information requirements.

Module 2: Improving Transport Demand Forecasting

Provides guidance on how Infrastructure Australia assesses transport demand forecasts and provides advice to enable workshop participants to produce more robust and transparent demand forecasts in their business case submissions.

Module 3: Base Case & Options Workshop

Takes a case-study approach, to help identify and explain best-practice principles for defining the base case and project option scenarios included in business case submissions.

gsc was responsible for assisting IA with the design and content development for Module 1 and 3, as well as the design and approach for developing Module 2. Along with Senior Representation from Infrastructure Australia, gsc has been involved in assisting with the facilitation of all workshops held cross Australia.
